Disability Care

Vida provides highly-trained carers to support you to complete daily activities in the comfort of your own home for however long you need them, from 1-12 hours per day.

We recognise that many of our clients require specialised and focused care for certain ailments. Our trained professionals provide specialised care for cancer, dementia, muscular dystrophy, arthritis, diabetes, musculoskeletal disorders and Parkinson's disease and more. Whether it is you or a loved one needing support, care at home can help maintain a good quality of life and remain in the comfort home offers for as long as possible.

What does Disability Care involve?

Vida’s experienced carers are specially trained to work with a range of disorders and circumstances, and you will be matched suitably based on these needs.

As well as practical support with day-to-day tasks, carers can also help in the following ways:

  • Personal care, including help with washing and dressing
  • Housework, cleaning and cooking
  • Encouraging healthy living, attending medical appointments and maintaining a daily routine
  • Emotional, mental and physical support

For friends or family supporting loved ones, at-home care can provide respite and help remove any restrictions caring may place on your everyday routine. We speak with relatives regularly to ensure they are kept up-to-date with their loved one’s care plan and give all involved the helping hand you need.
